To save taxpayer dollars — plus a few trees — PennDOT has stopped printing paper copies of a number of its publications.

Those publications are:

But here's the deal: you will have free, easy online access to the most recent version of all publications in PDF format by clicking the links above. Or visit www.dmv.pa.gov and click on "Forms and Publications" to see all our available electronic publications. PennDOT expects to save about $632,000 annually by not printing and storing large quantities of these publications.

AUDIO ACCESSIBILITY

For the first time ever, a free audio version of the Pennsylvania Driver's Manual is available through our website.

"Making sure that all citizens have equal access to information is of utmost importance," said Governor Tom Wolf. "Making an audio version of the Pennsylvania Driver's Manual available to our citizens is an important step in ensuring that access."

The audio manual is especially useful for individuals with learning issues, but is also a convenient way to study the manual on the go. Audio files can be streamed from the website or downloaded in MP3 format onto a computer or device. Audio files are broken down by chapter.

In the future, PennDOT will also be introducing more enhancements to our online publications, including tutorial videos. When available, those videos will be shared on our social media channels. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest updates.
