The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Selinsgrove Driver License Center located at 1015 Route 522 in Selinsgrove will re-open for services on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. The facility was temporarily closed since September 11 due to significant energy efficiency upgrades and renovations as part of a Guaranteed Energy Savings Act (GESA) project initiated by PennDOT and the Department of General Services. The Selinsgrove Driver License Center will resume normal operating hours of Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 4:15 PM for all services.

Motorists are advised that the primitive roadside rest area on Routes 11/15 at McKees Half Falls in Chapman Township, Snyder County will be closed for the season on Friday, December 8, 2023.

Construction continues on the Southern Section of the Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation (CSVT) project in Snyder County. Beginning Wednesday, December 6, 2023, Fisher Road will be closed between the intersections with Route 1017 (Park Road) in Monroe Township, Snyder County, while the contractor, Trumbull Corporation, starts excavation work to realign Fisher Road. Local residents will maintain access, but through traffic will be prohibited.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is advising motorists in Lycoming County that the bridge, also known as Iron bridge, carrying Route 414 over the Pine Creek, in Brown Township, Lycoming County, will be restricted to 32 Tons, Except Combinations 40 Tons. The bridge is located approximately 1.2 miles north of Slate Run.
