The horizontal curvature along Church Road will also be made less severe to improve visibility and sight distance near the intersection. Coordination with Cheltenham Township has added a sidewalk to the project to provide pedestrian access from the adjacent homes and from Wyncote Elementary School to Curtis Arboretum. Additional project improvements include traffic signal replacements, ADA ramps, and new pedestrian crosswalks, the installation of a new drainage pipe and stormwater management system, the replanting of trees within Curtis Arboretum, and the reconstruction of stone walls which will be impacted by the project.
