Culvert Replacement Project to Begin on Route 997 (Roxbury Road) in Cumberland County

​Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a culvert replacement project is set to begin on Route 997 (Roxbury Road) in Upper Mifflin Township, Cumberland County. The culvert is located between Etter Road and Bridgewater Road in the township.

Weather permitting, work will begin Thursday, June 1. The structure will be closed. A detour will be in place using Route 696, Route 641, Windy Hill Road (Route 4015), Steelstown Road (Route 4006), and Route 233.

Access will be maintained to residences and business within the project area, as well as side roads, alleys and fire hydrants.

Work is expected to be completed by September 20, 2023.

JVI Group, Inc., of York Springs, PA, is the contractor on this $633,950 project.
