Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is
announcing intermittent traffic stoppages on northbound Route 28 in Sharpsburg
Borough, Allegheny County, will occur tonight, Thursday, March 16 weather
permitting.
Intermittent traffic
stoppages of 15 minutes or less will occur on northbound Route 28 at the
Highland Park Bridge interchange from 9 p.m. Thursday night to 6 a.m. Friday
morning. Crews will conduct shielding
installation work.
Please allow extra
time and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
To help keep motorists
informed as work progresses, PennDOT has created an email distribution list for
Route 28 traffic advisories and construction updates. Enroll by sending email
addresses to stcowan@pa.gov. Please write “Subscribe – Route 28” in the subject
line.
