Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT is announcing slide
repair work on Route 3014 (Piney Fork Road) in South Park Township, Allegheny
County will begin Tuesday, August 13 weather permitting.
Slide repair work
requiring the closure of a portion of Piney Fork Road will begin at 7 a.m.
Tuesday. To allow the work to occur, an around-the-clock closure of Piney Fork
Road between Single Track Road and Brownsville Road will occur through late
August.
Car traffic will be
detoured via Browsnville Road, McCorkle Road, Ridge Road, and Single Track
Road. Trucks will be detoured via Brownsville Road, Curry Hollow Road, Old
Clairton Road and Gill Hall Road.
PennDOT crews will
conduct the work. Please use caution when traveling through the corridor.
