Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is inviting the public to attend a job fair on Thursday, September 5 to learn about available maintenance positions the department offers for the winter maintenance program in Lawrence County.

​The event will be held at PennDOT’s Lawrence County Maintenance Building located at 1800 Wilmington Road New Castle, PA 16105 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, September 5. 

Available positions in Lawrence County include: 

• Seasonal (Temporary-to-Permanent) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Operators

• Full-time permanent Diesel Mechanic

• Full-time permanent Diesel Mechanic Trainee

• Seasonal Clerical Assistant

Commonwealth recruitment staff will be on-hand to discuss current winter maintenance openings in Lawrence County. Onsite application completion, on-the-spot interviews, driving skills testing, and conditional job offers for select positions will occur. Applicants for CDL positions are asked to bring their license and current medical examiner’s certificate. All other applicants are asked to bring an appropriate form of identification.
