Route 1006 Creek Road Pipe Replacement in Westmoreland County Extended

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that the closure of Route 1006 (Creek Road) between Hirsch Road and Midget Camp Road in Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County, has been extended through mid-September. 

Westmoreland County maintenance department crew are replacing a pipe. 

All work depends on weather and operations. 

A posted detour remains in place using:

  • Route 1011 (Midget Camp Road)
  • Route 711 (Ligonier Street)
  • Route 1006 (Creek Road)

Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
