Uniontown, PA – Greene County Maintenance Manager Dale Baird announced the following tentative work plan for the week of September 2. All maintenance activities depend on weather and operations.
Motorists can anticipate detours, flaggers, moving operations, and/or single-lane restrictions. Please drive with caution through all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the use of headlights. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
Boom mowing:
- Route 2011 (Garards Fort Road) in Greene Township
- Route 2017 (Muddy Creek Road) in Cumberland Township
- Route 2021 (Bald Hill Church Road) in Dunkard Township
- Route 3005 (Herod Run Road) in Springhill Township
- Route 3007 (Delphene Road) in Jackson Township
- Route 3010 (Deep Valley Road) in Springhill Township
Bridge replacement:
- Route 1009 (Bacon Run Road/Center School Road) in Morgan Township
Road closed. Posted detour:

Slide repair (paving):

Spray patching:
- I-79 in Franklin, Perry, Washington, and Whiteley townships and various routes countywide
Litter crews will be picking litter on various routes throughout the county as weather and other activities permit.
Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced, and work orders will be addressed on various state routes throughout the county.
