Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that Route 3009 (Toms Run Road) is scheduled to close beginning Monday, September 9, between Route 3008 (Pine Bank Road) and Tustin Run Road in Gilmore Township, Greene County.
A posted detour will be in place using:
- Route 3008 (Pine Bank Road)
- Route 3006 (Dunkard Creek Road/Jollytown Road)
- Route 3009 (Toms Run Road)
Greene County maintenance department bridge crew will be replacing the structure that carries Route 3009 over Tustin Run with a precast concrete box culvert. Work includes approach roadway widening, paving, and guiderail replacement – a $600K infrastructure investment.
The closure is anticipated through mid-November depending on weather and operations.
Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
