Uniontown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that Route 381 (Weavertown Road) is scheduled to close Monday, September 9, between Route 2041 (Horseshoe Bend Road) and Route 2039 (Stony Lonesome Road) in Cook Township, Westmoreland County.
Crews from Allison Park Contractors, Inc. will be rehabilitating the structure that carries Route 381 over Loyalhanna Creek. Maintenance includes beam replacement, full depth deck repair, and parapet replacement – an infrastructure investment of $1M.
A posted detour will be in place using:
- Route 381 (Weavertown/Linn Run Park Road).
- Route 30 (Lincoln Highway).
- Route 711 (Stahlstown Ligonier Road).
- Route 130 (Main Street).
- Route 381 (Weavertown Road).
The closure is anticipated through early to mid-November. All work depends on weather and operations.
