​Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of a lane restriction next week on Route 642 in Milton Borough, Northumberland County, for a bridge inspection.

On Tuesday, January 31, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge inspection crew will be inspecting the bridges that span the west branch of the Susquehanna River.  Motorists can expect alternating lane closures with flagging where work is being performed.  Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone.
