Crack Sealing Project to Begins This Week on Multiple Routes in Bradford County


Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a crack sealing project is set to begin this week on multiple routes in Bradford County.

On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, the contractor, Scodeller Construction, Inc., will begin the project on the following routes:

  • Route 1018 (Packer Ave) in Towanda Borough
  • Route 1022 (Bridge Street / Ghent Hill Road / Rome Road) in Sheshequin and Rome townships
  • Route 1024 (Cross Road) in Sheshequin Township
  • Route 1029 (Lake Road / North Rome Road / Macfee Road) in Sheshequin, Rome and Litchfield townships
  • Route 1033 (Lanning Creek Road) in Wysox Township
  • Route 1039 (William Street / Main Street) in Towanda Borough
  • Route 1041 (James Street) in North Towanda Township
  • Route 1045 (Hornbrook Road) in Sheshequin Township
  • Route 1046 (Bumpville Road / West Parks Road) in Rome Township
  • Route 1050 (Rome Road) in Litchfield Township
  • Route 1052 (Ridge Road) in Sheshequin, Athens, and Litchfield townships
  • Route 1054 (Orange Hill Road) in Athens and Litchfield townships
  • Route 1057 (Sportsmans Road / Rome Road), Sheshequin and Litchfield townships
  • Route 1058 (Litchfield Road / Sackett Creek Road) in Litchfield Township
  • Route 1060 (Glen Valley Road) in Athens Township
  • Route 1067 (Hill Road) in Litchfield Township
  • Route 2027 (Main Street) in Towanda Borough and Towanda Township
  • Route 4001 (Saco Road / Ulster Road) in Ulster, Smithfield townships
  • Route 4003 (Noble Road) in Ulster Township
  • Route 4004 (Ulster Road) in Smithfield and Ulster townships
  • Route 4005 (Brosman Road) in Smithfield Township
  • Route 4012 (Laurel Hill Road) in Smithfield and Ulster townships
  • Route 4014 (Milan Road / Main Street) in Smithfield and Ulster townships
  • Route 4020 (Mile Lane Road) in Ridgebury and Athens townships
  • Route 4021 (Chapel Road) in Smithfield, Athens and Ridgebury townships
  • Route 9102 in Smithfield Township


Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the work zone.
