Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised a bridge project will take place this week on the Veterans Bridge (Route 61) northbound in Sunbury, Northumberland County.
On Thursday, October 3, 2024, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be inspecting the bridge by crane and performing a cleaning operation between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00, weather permitting.
Northbound motorists can expect the right (driving) lane to be closed when work is being performed. Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone.
