Arch Culvert Replacement Project Begins Next Week on Route 851 in York County

Detour in place until August 23

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that an arch culvert replacement project is scheduled to begin next week on Route 851 (Bryansville Road) in York County. The structure is located between Route 74 (Delta Road) and Wise Road (Route 2048) near Delta Borough in Peach Bottom Township.

Weather permitting, the contractor will begin work on Monday, June 5. The structure will be closed and a detour will be in place using Kilgore Road (Route 2047), Line Road (Route 2028), and Route 74.

The detour is expected to be in place until August 23, 2023. All work is expected to be completed by October 31, 2023.

JD Eckman, Inc., of Atglen, PA, is the contractor on this $1,789,657 project.
