SR 0068 Little Licking Creek Bridge 1 Replacement​

Project Description

The project consists of the replacement of the existing single span concrete tee-beam bridge carrying SR 0068 (Colerain Street) over Little Licking Creek. The existing bridge carries two 12’-0” wide travel lanes, two 4’-0” wide shoulders, one 13’-6” wide sidewalk on the eastern side and one 11’-6” wide sidewalk on the western side.

The work involves the replacement of the existing bridge with a single cell precast concrete box culvert with approximately 400 feet of roadway work along the same horizontal roadway alignment. The proposed culvert will be replaced in the same location as the existing bridge. The lanes, shoulders and sidewalks over the proposed box culvert will be two 12’-0” wide travel lanes, two 4’-0” wide shoulders, one 11’-6” wide sidewalk on the eastern side and one 8’-0” wide sidewalk on the western side. The work will be completed using phased construction and maintaining 1 lane of alternating traffic using temporary signals. Licking Street will be detoured during construction. The construction is scheduled to start in the Summer of 2026. The current construction cost estimate is approximately $2.5-3 million.
