Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing upcoming structural repairs to a large diameter metal plate culvert on Route 4050 (West Leechburg Hill Road) in West Leechburg Borough, Westmoreland County.
Route 4050 (West Leechburg Hill Road) will be closed between Route 4050 (Main Street/Pleasant Hill Road) and Route 4093 (South Leechburg Hill Road) for the duration of the project.
Construction initially scheduled to begin Monday, November 6 has been rescheduled to begin on Monday, November 13. The closure is anticipated to last until late January 2024 depending on weather and operations.
Route 4050 (West Leechburg Hill Road) will have a detour in place using:
- Route 4050 (Main Street/Pleasant Hill Road).
- Route 4091 (West Leechburg Road).
- Route 4093 (South Leechburg Hill Road).
- Route 4050 (West Leechburg Hill Road).
Crews from Allison Park Contractors, Inc. will be performing the $1 million improvement.
