Start Date for Juniata County Bridge Project Pushed to June 5

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced work on a bridge replacement project in Juniata County will start Tuesday, June 2. PennDOT Reminds Public of Bridge Replacement and Two-Week Detour in McKean County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is reminding area motorists that a McKean County bridge replacement project that began in mid-May will bring a 2-week detour soon. The bridge spans Mix Creek on Route 1011 (Barnum Road) in Eldred Township, just south of the New York border. On Tuesday, June 6, the section of Route 1011 near the bridge will be closed as bridge demolition and replacement begins. Roadway Seal Coating Pushed to June 7 and 8 on Green Avenue in Lewistown

Reminder: Detours for Vehicles and Bicycles Start Monday for Flemington Bridge Closure and Work

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is reminding area motorists and cyclists that the Flemington Bridge on Route 150 near Lock Haven will be closed to traffic starting Monday, June 5. The closure will be in place throughout June and is necessary in order to tarp the bridge and perform painting and structural steel repairs. The painting and repairs will improve the condition of the bridge from fair to good and keep it in useful service for years to come. The Flemington Truss dates from 1933 and is 250 feet long. Potter County Bridge Replacement and Detour Begin June 8

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting area motorists that a bridge replacement project and detour will begin soon along Route 449 in Potter County.  The bridge spans Pine Creek, about one mile southeast of the village of Gold. The detour will go into effect on Thursday, June 8, when the bridge is closed to traffic. The detour will use Route 449, Route 49, Route 1008 (Cross Road) and Route 1001 (Fox Hill Road). The detour will be in effect through July 27, with project completion expected August 1. Work activity after the detour is lifted will be done under traffic....Read More
