I-295 West/I-95 South Double Lane Closure at Night Next Week for Construction in Bucks County

King of Prussia, PA – Westbound Interstate 295 and southbound Interstate 95 motorists in Bucks County will encounter a double lane closure between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Academy Road interchanges on Tuesday, September 3, through Friday, September 6, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for concrete spall repair, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on westbound I-295 and southbound I-95 in the work area because significant backups and delays are expected.  All operations are weather dependent and subject to change.

The work is part of a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 and I-295 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships.

James J. Anderson Construction Company, Inc. of Philadelphia is the general contractor on the $36,595,236 project, which is financed with 80 percent federal and 20 percent state funds.
