King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on three state highways in Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Bucks County
  • Monday, December 11, through Friday, January 5, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 263 (Upper York Road) between River Road and Circle View Drive in Solebury Township.
Montgomery County
  • Monday, December 11, through Friday, December 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 29 (Collegeville Road/2nd Avenue) between Hopwood Road and Park Avenue in Upper Providence Township and Collegeville Borough.
Philadelphia
  • Monday, December 11, through Friday, January 19, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Germantown Avenue between Route 611 (Broad Street) and Erie Avenue.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
