King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the U.S. 1 South (Roosevelt Expressway) Ramp to westbound Interstate 76 and City Avenue is closed and detoured due to structural damage sustained by a large vehicle strike at the bridge this afternoon.
The U.S. 1 South (Roosevelt Expressway) Ramp to westbound Interstate 76 and City Avenue will remain closed until PennDOT bridge engineers and its contractor can make the necessary repairs to safely reopen the ramp.
Motorists are advised of the following closure:
- U.S. 1 South (Roosevelt Expressway) Ramp to westbound Interstate 76 and City Avenue. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use eastbound I-76, Montgomery Avenue, and westbound I-76.
During the closure, motorists are advised to follow the posted detour routes. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
