The organizers of the Pennsylvania Automated Vehicle Summit are pleased to announce the 2021 PAAV Summit Series, an exciting line-up of topic-specific events and discussions throughout the year.

The PA AV Summit Series features vehicle automation experts presenting webinars, Oxford-style debates, fireside chats, and panels providing a diverse range of perspectives on the critical issues and opportunities that AVs offer Pennsylvania and the nation

The date, time and topic for the first in the Summit Series is:

Infrastructure Readiness – Planning and Development

February 4, 2-3:30 p.m. EST 2021

Description

Because connected and automated vehicles will use the public roadways, infrastructure investments today and tomorrow can be a powerful public lever to ensure these technologies' development and deployment best serves the public good.  On the other hand, reluctance to use that lever and await their uncertain arrival risks trouble.  Panelists will discuss these thorny choices, many of which decisionmakers will need to make during a time of funding instability.
