Short-Term Closure Planned for Route 77 in City of Meadville, Crawford County

A portion of Route 77 in the City of Meadville, Crawford County will be closed next week as PennDOT county maintenance crews complete a pipe replacement.

The roadway will be closed from State Street to Dickson Road beginning Monday, September 25, 2023.

A detour will be posted using Route 27, Route 86, and Route 198.

The closure is expected to be in effect through Friday, September 29, 2023.

PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
