​As part of the ongoing community engagement and education efforts for projects along the Bayfront Parkway, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will be restarting its series of lunchtime chats called “Let's Talk Bayfront".

The series will kick off with a live episode at 12:05 PM Tuesday, May 28 on Microsoft Teams Live.

The topic will be the East Bayfront Parkway Project with expected guests Tom McClelland, Assistant District Executive – Design, and Del Mizban, Construction Project Manager. The East Bayfront Parkway is a safety project to improve pedestrian signals and promote slower traffic speeds between Port Access Road and East 12th Street in the City of Erie.

The public can listen to the episode live and submit questions through the Q&A chat option. Questions about the day's topic will be read and answered live as time allows. Questions can also be submitted in advance to BayfrontProject@pa.gov.

Listeners can log into “Let's Talk Bayfront" on May 28 through the link https://bit.ly/4dLv2pt by using the Microsoft Teams app or through Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge internet browsers. Episodes will run 15 to 20 minutes and the public can join anytime during the program.

Future topics and guests will be announced in advance and individual links to each episode will be available at Bayfront Parkway Improvement Project page on www.penndot.pa.gov/District1 and will be posted in the project Facebook group. All programs will be recorded and posted on the webpage following the live sessions.
