​Indiana, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting motorists to an upcoming road closure as maintenance crews repair a pipe on State Route 66 (River Road) in Parks Township, Armstrong County.

July 24 through July 28, weather permitting, State Route 66 (River Road) will be closed between Industrial Park Road and Montgomery Lane. The detour for this closure will take motorists across the Leechburg Bridge onto State Route 4092 (Leechburg Hill Road) to State Route 56 to Vandergrift and back across the Vandergrift bridge back onto State Route 66 (River Road).

The road will be posted "road to be closed next week" the week prior to alert daily traveling motorists of the upcoming closure.
