Westbound Closure on U.S Route 22 to Begin for the Cramer Pike/State Route 403 Bridge Repair in East Wheatfield Township, Indiana County

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting motorists to a closure with a detour on U.S. Route 22 Westbound for a bridge repair on the Cramer Pike/State Route 403 bridge over U.S. Route 22 in East Wheatfield Township, Indiana County.

Traffic impacts are as follows:

  • There is a 10-foot width restriction for all traffic through August 31 with alternating lane closures on eastbound and westbound U.S. Route 22.
  • July 19 through July 29 – Beginning July 19 through the end of July, U.S. Route 22 westbound will be closed nightly (11:00 PM - 5:00 AM) between McFeaters Road and the State Route 403 on-ramp.
  • Full closure of U.S. Route 22 eastbound under the structure will begin at the end of July following the westbound closure.

Westbound traffic will be detoured in Ebensburg using U.S. Route 219 North to U.S. Route 422 to U.S. Route 119 South to Blairsville.  Eastbound traffic will be detoured using the on and off ramps around the structure.

Allison Park Contracting, Gibsonia, PA is completing this $725,000 project.
