Route 66 Closure Due to Slide in Armstrong County

Indiana, PA – PennDOT is announcing that a portion of Route 66 between Vandergrift and Leechburg in Armstrong County is closed due to a landslide.

Route 66 between the intersection of Jefferson Street and First Street/Lincoln Street in Parks Township is currently closed with no estimated time to reopen.  To detour motorists should use Route 56 and the Route 56 Bypass (South Leechburg Hill). 

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
