Indiana, PA – PennDOT is announcing that a portion of Route 66 between Vandergrift and Leechburg in Armstrong County is now open. Route 66, between the intersection of Jefferson Street and First Street/Lincoln Street, in Parks Township closed on April 3 due to a large landslide.
Crews will be continuing clean-up on the hillside so motorists may experience brief delays with one-lane restrictions and flagging to direct motorists.
Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
