Ramp Closure for Clarion River Bridge Preservation Project in Paint and Monroe Townships, Clarion County

​Indiana, PA – PennDOT is announcing a ramp closure as part of the Clarion River Bridge Preservation Project on Interstate 80 in Paint and Monroe Townships, Clarion County.

Beginning on April 29 at 6 AM, the on-ramp from Route 66 to Eastbound I-80 will be closed at the Shippenville on-ramp to alleviate congestion from vehicles merging into the active work zone.  To detour, motorists should take the I-80 ramp Westbound towards Sharon to Exit 53: Knox and then proceed to the I-80 East ramp to travel Eastbound.  The detour will be in place through the project until late September 2024.

Contractor, Swank Constriction Co., LLC of New Kensington, PA, will be completing this $5 million project.
