Indiana, PA – PennDOT is announcing that a portion of Meridian Road (Route 3007) between Railroad Street (T-453) and Smith Road (T-453) in Penn Township, Butler County, will be open by approximately 5 PM today, May 24, 2024.

Work to repair a slide began in mid-March and entailed removal of a portion of the hillside to construct a new roadway as well as utility work and miscellaneous construction.

Contractor, Allison Park Contracting of Gibsonia, PA, completed this $685,000 project.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
