Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is
announcing northbound I-79 bridge inspection work in Franklin Park Borough,
Allegheny County, will occur Monday through Wednesday, September 18-20 weather
permitting.
Single-lane
and shoulder restrictions will occur as needed on the northbound I-79 bridge
over I-279 for inspection activities according to the following schedule:
Monday, September 18 –
Northbound I-79 and southbound I-279 lane restrictions from 8 p.m. to 2
a.m.
Tuesday, September 19 –
Northbound I-79 shoulder restrictions from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and northbound
I-79 and southbound I-279 lane restrictions from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Wednesday, September 20 -
Northbound I-79 shoulder restrictions from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and northbound
I-79 and southbound I-279 lane restrictions from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

crews will conduct the inspection work.
