Route 380 Bigelow Boulevard Lane Restrictions Continue Next Week in Pittsburgh


Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing lane restrictions on Route 380 (Bigelow Boulevard) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will continue Monday and Tuesday, February 12-13 weather permitting.


Lane restrictions will occur as needed on Bigelow Boulevard in both directions at the intersection with Herron Avenue weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. All turns at Herron Avenue will be available.


Crews from Jet Excavating will conduct work to permanently close the pedestrian tunnel under Bigelow Boulevard. Pedestrians will use the existing crosswalk.


Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.


511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
