Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is
announcing inspection work on the ramp that carries traffic from southbound
I-579 to the outbound Boulevard of the Allies (Route 885) in the City of
Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Monday night, April 8 weather permitting.
Inspection
activities will occur from 10 p.m. Monday night through 5 a.m. Tuesday on the
southbound I-579 ramp to Route 885. All traffic will be detoured during the
inspection.

toward 19/51 Liberty Bridge
Cross the Liberty Bridge and
continue through the Liberty Tunnel
Turn right onto North Truck
19/North 51 toward the West End
From northbound Route 51, take
the left-hand ramp to West 376/South 19 toward Carnegie/Pittsburgh
International Airport
Bear left toward South Truck
19/51 Uniontown
Merge onto eastbound (inbound)
I-376 (Parkway West) and continue through the Fort Pitt Tunnel
Stay right to access the East
376 (Parkway East)
Take the ramp to Forbes
Avenue/Oakland (Exit 72A)
From Forbes Avenue turn right
onto Craft Avenue
Follow Craft Avenue to the
Boulevard of the Allies
End detour
