Route 3007 Walton Road Closure Begins Tuesday in Jefferson Hills

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing roadway repairs on Walton Road (Route 3007) in Jefferson Hills Borough, Allegheny County will begin Tuesday, May 28 weather permitting.

Roadway repair work will begin a 6 a.m. on Tuesday requiring an around-the-clock closure of Walton Road between Dale Road and Riverview Drive through mid-June. Crews will conduct inlet and cross pipe installation, stream dredging, shoulder stabilization, and other miscellaneous roadway repairs. Traffic will be detoured.

East of the Closure

  • From Walton Road, turn left onto Scotia Hollow Road

  • Turn right onto Ridge Road

  • Ridge Road becomes Desiderio Boulevard

  • Desiderio Boulevard becomes Seventh Street

  • Turn right onto St. Clair Avenue

  • Turn right onto Route 837 (North State Street)

  • Follow Route 837 back to Walton Road

  • End detour

West of the Closure

  • Same detour in the opposite direction

PennDOT maintenance crews will conduct the work.  Please use caution when traveling in this area.
