Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like
to inform motorists of surface improvement work on Route 981 in the Borough of
Mount Pleasant. Milling operations began on Tuesday, June 7 and continued into
Wednesday, June 8. Work that was originally anticipated to resume Monday, June
13 is being rescheduled to resume in late June, weather and operational
dependent.
Motorists
can expect single-lane alternating traffic during daylight hours on Route 981
between Main Street and Route 819 during the operations.
Crews from
Tresco Paving Corporation will be performing milling and paving operations as
part of a Surface Improvement Project which includes multiple routes throughout
Westmoreland County.
Motorists
