​Uniontown, PA – Westmoreland County Maintenance Manager, Dave Forkey, announced the following tentative work plan for the week of June 27, 2022. All maintenance activities are conducted on a weather-permitting and operational basis.  Motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the usage of headlights.

Patching is scheduled for:

• Route 3010 (Huntington Road) in South Huntington Township

• Route 3015 (Turkey Hollow Road) in Rostraver Township

• Various Routes Latrobe, Greensburg, and Derry Townships

• Route 130 in Cook Township

• Route 2043 (Darlington-Rector Road) in Ligonier Township

Crack sealing is scheduled for:

• Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) in Derry and Unity Township

• Route 380 in Murrysville Borough

• Route 66 in Washington Township

Shoulder repair is scheduled for:

• Route 711 (Market Street Ext.) in Ligonier Township

• Route 2033 (Bethel Church Road) in Cook Township

• Route 2035 (Solomon Temple Road) in Unity and Ligonier Township

• Route 3045 (Mars Hill Road) in Sewickley Township

Shoulder cutting:

• SR 1023 (Nature Run Road) in Ligonier Township

Pipe installation/drainage work is scheduled for:

• Route 982 in Unity Township

• Route 3008 (Willowbrook Road) in Rostraver Township

Bridge flushing is scheduled for:

• Various routes in Derry, Loyalhanna, Rostraver, Hempfield, Upper Burrel, Washington and North Huntingdon Townships

Pipe replacement is scheduled for:

• Route 3008 (Willowbrook Road) in Rostraver Township

• The road is closed between Gallitin Road and Skyline Drive with a detour in place

Slide repair is scheduled for:

• Route 3047 (Guffey Road) in Sewickley Township

Bridge replacement is scheduled for:

• Route 3103 Swede Hill/Carbon Road in Hempfield Township

• The road is closed between Hunter Road and Sunnyview Drive with a detour in place.

Litter crews will be picking litter on various routes throughout the county as weather and other activities permit.

Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced, and work orders will be addressed on various state routes throughout the County.
