Eastbound Route 22 William Penn Highway Lane Restriction Scheduled Next Week in Washington County

​Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to inform motorists that a single-lane restriction is scheduled for next week on eastbound Route 22 (William Penn Highway) between the I-576 interchange in Robinson Township, Washington County and the Allegheny County line.

The restriction is anticipated to begin at 7:00 AM on Monday, May 22 and remain in place through 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 25, weather and operational dependent. Department crews perform repairs to the concrete roadway and shoulder. 

Should additional time be needed for repairs, the single-lane restriction will be in place again Wednesday, May 31 and Thursday, June 1.

Motorists should exercise caution traveling through work zones and be alert for workers.
