Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing daylight, intermittent, single-lane restrictions on Route 19 (Greene and High Streets) in Waynesburg Borough and Franklin Township, Greene County.

Restrictions are from the intersections of Route 19 and Richhill Street (in Waynesburg) to Routes 19 and 21 (east of Waynesburg) and are scheduled through April 2024.

Crews from Gulisek Construction are conducting this $11.8 million Waynesburg Betterment Project, to ensure a safe and efficient route for all modes of transportation through the downtown Waynesburg business district. Construction currently consists of new foundation and conduit installation for the new traffic signals, roadway reconstruction and repaving, and existing ADA ramp replacement.

Exercise caution, remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
