Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is advising motorists that Route 40 has reopened. Both directions of Route 40 were closed earlier between the intersection of Route 381 (Elliotsville Road/Farmington Ohiopyle Road) and the intersection of Dinner Bell 5 Forks Road and Dinner Bell Ohiopyle Road in Wharton Township, Fayette County due to a crash.
Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
