Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that bridge improvements will begin next week on Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) over Route 66 (Amos K. Hutchinson Bypass), between Hempfield Boulevard/Hempfield Square and Agnew Road/Walton Tea Room Road in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County.

Lane shifts (reducing width to 11 feet) are scheduled to begin on Monday, April 1 and continue through late-May from 7 AM to 5 PM, depending on weather and operations.

Crews from CriLon Corp will be removing and replacing expansion dams and performing concrete repairs. This work is part of a $1.65 million investment.

Commuters should expect delays as this is a high traffic area.
