Interstate 70 Overnight Slab Repair Thursday in Washington County

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing an overnight single-lane restriction on eastbound Interstate 70 between the southbound Interstate 79 on-ramp and Exit 19 (Route 19/Murtland Avenue) off-ramp in the City of Washington, Washington County.

The restriction is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 25, and anticipated until 6:00 AM, Friday, April 26, depending on weather and operations.

Crews from Green Acres Contracting will be conducting concrete slab repair – an infrastructure investment of $380,000.

Exercise caution during night work and while approaching the work zone. Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
