Route 906 Second Street Bridge Replacement Begins Monday in Westmoreland County

05/09/2024

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that portions of Route 906 northbound (Second Street) – between Mechanics Street and Route 3019 (Kline Street) – and of Route 3021 (Webster Hollow Road) – between Route 906 northbound (Second Street) and southbound (First Street) – will close Monday, May 13, 7:00 AM, in Webster, Rostraver Township, Westmoreland County.

The closure is anticipated through late August depending on weather and operations, and signed detours will be in place:

  • Route 906 northbound (Second Street) will be detoured to the southbound lanes of Route 906 (First Street) between approximately Route 3015 (Turkey Hollow Road) and Bargehr Lane.
  • Route 906 southbound lanes (First Street) through Webster will have pavement markings applied to make it bidirectional through town, with the northbound lanes of Route 906 (Second Street) open for local traffic (except between Mechanics Street and Kline Street).
  • Route 3021 (Webster Hollow Road) will be detoured along Third Street to Kline Street, to the bidirectional lanes Route 906 (First Street).

Crews from Golden Triangle Construction Company will be replacing the bridge that carries northbound Route 906 (Second Street) over Webster Hollow Run with a precast box culvert – an infrastructure investment of $2.2 million.
