Caln Township to Close U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) for Utility Improvement in Chester County

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Caln Township will be performing a sewer facility installation on U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) in Caln Township, Chester County, beginning Monday, June 19. 

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
  • Monday, June 19, through Friday, June 30, a 24/7 closure is scheduled on U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) between Old Horseshoe Pike and Edges Mill Road. During the closure, passenger vehicles will be directed to use U.S. 30 (Coatesville Downingtown Bypass), Route 340 (Kings Highway), and Bondsville Road. Large trucks will be directed to use U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike), Route 82 (Manor Road), and U.S. 30 (Coatesville Downingtown Bypass).
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.  

Caln Township will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
