King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Route 32 (River Road) has reopened between Taylorsville Road and Woodside Road in Upper Makefield and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County, following flood damage repair. This section of Route 32 (River Road) was closed on Saturday night, July 15, due to heavy flooding from severe storms.

Two additional state highways, Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road) and Taylorsville Road remain closed for additional cleanup and repair. Motorists are advised of the following closures:

During the closures, motorists will continue to use Taylorsville Road, Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road), Wrightsville Road, Eagle Road, Stoopville Road, Lindenhurst Road and Route 332 (Yardley Newtown Road/Afton Avenue). Local access will be maintained up to the closures.

A modified detour route will be established sometime tomorrow due to the reopening of Route 32 (River Road). Motorists will be directed to use Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road), Wrightstown Road, Eagle Road, Stoopville Road and Dolington Road.

The Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road) and Taylorsville Road closures will remain in place until PennDOT's contractor can complete the repair work and safely reopen the highways.
