PennDOT Reopens Section of Taylorsville Road Following Flood Damage Repair in Bucks County

07/20/2023

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a section of Taylorsville Road has reopened between Mount Eyre Road and Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road) in Upper Makefield Township, Bucks County, following flood damage repair. This section was closed Saturday night, July 15, due to flash flooding damage from severe storms.

Two additional sections of state highway, Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road) and a section of Taylorsville Road remain closed for additional cleanup and repair.

Motorists are advised of the following closures:

Both closures will remain in place until PennDOT's contractor can complete the repair work and safely reopen the highways.

During the closures, motorists will continue to use Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road), Wrightstown Road, Eagle Road, Stoopville Road and Dolington Road.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
