Maintenance Activities Scheduled on Taylorsville Road, Highland Avenue, Greenhill Road in Bucks County 08/30/2023 King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that maintenance activities are scheduled on Taylorsville Road, Highland Avenue, and Greenhill Road in Upper Makefield, Lower Makefield, Middletown, and Solebury townships, Bucks County. Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions: - Thursday, August 31, and Friday, September 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Taylorsville Road will be closed and detoured between Mount Eyre Road and Aqueduct Road in Upper Makefield and Lower Makefield townships for emergency pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Woodside Road, Route 32 (River Road), and Route 532 (George Washington Memorial Boulevard);
- Tuesday, September 5, through Tuesday, September 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Highland Avenue will be closed weekdays between Avenue F and Hulmeville Road in Middletown Township for drainage repairs. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Avenue F, Poplar Street, and Hulmeville Road; and
- Monday, September 11, through Wednesday, October 4, from Greenhill Road will be closed 24/7 between Mechanicsville Road and Aquetong Road in Solebury Township for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Aquetong Road and Mechanicsville Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zones. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
