King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that stormwater improvements are planned on several state highways in Montgomery County, as part of a project to address storm water management on over 90 state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.
Motorist are advised of lane closures on Monday, September 18, through Friday, September 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the following locations:
Drivers should allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Highway Materials, Inc of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this $14.9 million project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
