Pothole Patching Scheduled Monday Night on U.S. 1 South Ramp to I-295 West

10/13/2023

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pothole patching operations will occur next week on the ramp from southbound U.S. 1 to westbound Interstate 295 in Middletown Township, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

  • Monday, October 16, from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM the following morning, the ramp from southbound U.S. 1 to westbound I-295 will be closed and detoured. During the closure, motorists will be directed to continue south on U.S. 1, exit at Maple Avenue, turn right onto Maple Avenue, and turn left onto the ramp to northbound U.S. 1 to access westbound I-295.

If weather forces the cancellation of this work, the ramp closure will be in place the following night, Tuesday, October 17, from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM the following morning.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
