12/19/2023

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that both lanes on U.S. 202 North (Dekalb Pike) and one lane on U.S. 202 South (Dekalb Pike) were reopened this morning following sinkhole repair in King of Prussia, Montgomery County.

PennDOT opened the second lane (left lane) on U.S. 202 North (Dekalb Pike) and the left lane on U.S. 202 South (Dekalb Pike) early this morning following asphalt paving operations to address multiple sinkholes.

Motorists are advised that the right lane on southbound U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) between Saulin Boulevard and Henderson Road will remain closed until additional pavement repairs can be performed.

U.S. 202 South (Dekalb Pike) had been closed since Friday evening, December 15, following the discovery of multiple sinkholes underneath the southbound travel lanes.

On Saturday, December 16, PennDOT reopened one lane on U.S. North (Dekalb Pike) after it was initially closed early Thursday morning, December 14, following the discovery of a sinkhole in the right travel lane just north of Henderson Road.
