Aqua Pennsylvania Utility Improvements Scheduled on Two State Highways in Upper Darby, Haverford Townships

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Aqua Pennsylvania will be performing water main construction on two state highways in Upper Darby and Haverford townships, Delaware County. 

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
  • Monday, April 1, through Friday, April 5, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) between Alexander Avenue and Burmont Road.
  • Monday, April 8, through Wednesday, July 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) between Alexander Avenue and Drexel Avenue.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit. 

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
